Where Should You Host Your Cybersecurity Course ??

My experience with marketplaces and self-hosting my cybersecurity courses

The creator economy is expected to become a trillion dollar industry by 2027

So .. if you are thinking about creating courses based around cybersecurity then this is the best time to do it !

I have written before about how creating courses is a great way to earn some side-income and monetize your Cybersecurity knowledge

However, the decision of where to host these courses often comes up.

Two options are available:

• Established marketplaces like Udemy where you just upload your course and let them do all the work.
• Self-hosting platforms like Gumroad or Thinkific where you have more control BUT have to drive the traffic towards your course.

Each option has its unique set of pros and cons that impact how much money you earn from your course

I have tested both of them out with varying degrees of success
